And they’re back! After years of being tossed up in the air to save the eggs, the Angry Birds franchise is back with more than vengeance under their wings. Rovio Mobile has finally released Angry Birds Space last March 22 on the iOS and Android App Markets featuring a flock of space bound birds, eggs with antennae and pigs with satellite heads. This time around, Rovio shows us serious business and skyrocketing ambition with the new Angry Birds Space which transcended all expectations during its release because a lot of critics thought it just wasn’t a good idea. Well guess what? Since its release it already has more than a 17000 star rating in the Apple App Store and it’s growing in download numbers! The game features 60 intergalactic levels, hidden bonus levels, danger zones, HD space backgrounds and new goals. What’s more? The app developers promise to challenge users to the 30 most difficult levels on Angry Birds ever!

Angry Birds Space takes its players to zero gravity gameplay by letting go of the usual slingshot and trajectory challenges. In this epic game, your Physics knowledge will be once again tested by applying theories of physics in space. How you may ask? Well, there’s still a slingshot, and there are the pigs (although they’re now in bubbles or gravity fields) but the game isn't as simple as it used to be. This time around, you need to rethink your aiming strategy to wreck havoc on your enemies (e.g., cute little green piggies) by taking into consideration that there is no gravity in space but planets have gravity fields that can pull your bird so you have think of a way to maximize and use multiple dimensions.  So now you can even pull the birds away from your target and it’ll go around the planet and probably hit your pig faster!

Oh, and the storyline? We know you loved that cute comic-like plot they showed you before you started the game. This time around you get to see the 2D animated version of these cute birds as they guard their eggs when a different kind of bird (an ice bird) landed on earth with a golden meteorite egg. And just like in the previous games, a giant mechanical hand took away all of the eggs so they catapulted themselves into a giant pink void. The cool part?
